Basic Computer Skills
Beginner students will learn basic computer skills and operations including mouse skills, keyboard techniques, Internet surfing, and file management applications such as saving and retrieving files. The classes will take place over five weeks: Nov. 17 and 24 and Dec. 1, 8 and 15 from 10-11:30 a.m. There is a $50 fee. Please note the Dec. 15 class will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Microsoft Word
This workshop begins with the tools needed to complete a simple letter on the computer, including screen navigation, changing fonts, replacing text and editing. The series ends with the use of tables, clip art, auto text and mail merge features. It will take place over five weeks: Nov. 17 and 24 and Dec. 1, 8 and 15 from 7-8:30 p.m. There is a fee of $50.

Knitting for Baby with Marlene Proct
Do you know someone who is having a baby and want to do something special? Knit a baby outfit for the new baby. Marlene Proct will provide the pattern. You will bring your own #9 circular needle (either 24", 26" or 29"), 6 oz. of worsted weight yarn, markers and buttons. This is not a basic learn to knit class. Participants must know how to knit, purl and be familiar with knitting patterns. Register at the Circulation Desk for the class on Nov. 30 from 1-2 p.m.
Stitchy Women Knitting Group
This is an informal group of knitters who get together to exchange advice on knitting projects. Bring your project and come. All are welcome. No registration is necessary for the meeting on Nov. 30 from 7-8:30 p.m.
