Long Beach firefighters battled a West Beech Street blaze on Sunday that sent clouds of smoke into the West End.
The Long Beach Fire Department rushed to a call for a house fire at 50 W. Beech St. at approximately 8:22 p.m., fire officials said.
Assistant Fire Chief Hadrick Ray was first on the scene, observed heavy smoke coming from the attic and transmitted a working house fire as firefighters entered the home, according to the Fire Department’s Facebook page.
