Arrests
n Anthony Lombardo, 49, of Oceanside was arrested and charged with grand larceny in Long Beach on Aril 13. According to Nassau County Police Department, Lombardo, a self-employed dealer-appraiser of coins, while in possession of three of a customer’s rare coins for appraisal and cleaning, sold them without the owner’s permission. The coins, one of which is reportedly valued at $75,000, have not been recovered. Lombardo was scheduled to arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on April 14.
n Marcos Medina, 42, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving without a license and an open bench warrant on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach on March 29.
n Dion Boyd, 36, of Laurelton was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a knife, menacing and violating an order of protection on West Hudson Street on April 11.

DWI
n Joseph Leszcynski, 33, of Oceanside was arrested and charged in Long Beach on March 29 for driving while intoxicated without an ignition interlock device that was mandated after a prior DWI conviction. According to Long Beach Police Department, officers pulled over Leszcynski as he drove a Mazda Protege southbound on Long Beach Boulevard and crossed East Pine Street, turned onto East Fulton Street without signaling and swerved to the right three times, nearly striking parked cars at about 5:35 p.m. The ignition interlock device tests drivers’ breath for alcohol in order for the vehicle to start. Leszcynski was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, circumventing an ignition interlock device and failure to signal.
