Long Beach resident arraigned Thursday for March murder

Long Beach resident Shaun Teemer was arraigned Thursday for the March 2022 shooting death of an Uber driver in Long Beach, and separately for a hit-and-run that occurred in September 2021 that left a 74-year-old woman seriously injured.

Teemer, 23, was arraigned on charges including Murder in the Second Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. Teemer pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on August 30. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
