“Pomp and Circumstance” rang through the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on June 22, and North and South high schools on June 23. as each school’s class of 2016 was honored at a commencement ceremony.
Central High School’s valedictorian, Jason Paz, and salutatorian, Tiffany Longarzo, addressed the crowd. At North High School, Valedictorian Thomas Elbert and Salutatorian Morgan Foster spoke, and South High School’s valedictorian, Allyce Yang, and salutatorian, Ashton Dacon, offered their remarks as well.
Families, friends, teachers, school administrators and Board of Education trustees watched as the seniors received their diplomas and listened as the speakers shared their memories and words of advice.
Central High had 346 graduates, South High had 210 and North High had more than 200.
