Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
On April 23 at 12:15 a.m., a 25-year-old Freeport woman was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and improper lane usage on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 8:44 a.m. on April 23, a 33-year-old man of East Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and improper left turn on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A Valley Stream man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and expired New York State inspection on Merrick Road in Lynbrook on April 23 at 2:47 p.m.

On April 23 at 7:50 p.m., a 33-year-old of Baldwin, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, failure to signal and uninsured motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 12:20 p.m. on April 24, a North Bellmore man was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at County Seat Drive, Mineola.

A 31-year-old of Great Neck, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and three counts of an equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on April 26 at 11:20 p.m.

On April 27 at 11:20 a.m., a 65-year-old Baldwin man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
n Laura Dermody, 46, of Massapequa, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on April 20 at 12:05 a.m. at the corner of Baisley Avenue and Main Street in East Rockaway.

Identity theft
At 1:10 p.m. on April 19, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) opened an account in their name and social security number with LIPA. The account has a balance

On April 26 at 10:40 a.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) made charges on their Bank of America, HSBC and Chase credit cards. The total amount of the charges was unknown at the time of the report.

At 1:44 p.m. on April 29, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) made charges on their Capital One Debit card. The charges were in the amount of $1,054.99.

Petit larceny
On April 19 at 2:35 p.m., a complainant reported that their Canondale Bicycle was stolen from the bicycle rack located at the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road station. The bicycle was taken between 5:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on April 19. The value of the bicycle is $1,000.

Lost property
At 3:14 p.m. on April 19, a complainant reported that they lost their Apple iPhone 4 in the vicinity of 111 Atlantic Ave., Lynbrook. The value of the phone is $450.

On April 22 at 11:56 p.m., a complainant reported that they lost the New York State license plate from their 2011 Suzuki motorcycle in the vicinity of Lynbrook.
