Bethany Congregational Church in East Rockaway hosted a Song and Story Café on Oct. 4, bringing community members together for an afternoon of live music, storytelling and cultural connection.
Held at the church at 100 Main St., the event welcomed people of all faiths and backgrounds to share stories about their roots, their homes and what it means to belong.
The afternoon featured musical performances by Folkestra and jae.ci, with special guest Kevin Jackson. Alia Gribbon served as master of ceremonies.
Through music and personal stories, the gathering encouraged attendees to learn about one another's experiences and celebrate the different cultures and traditions that make up the community.
