The Village of Malverne held its annual Sept. 11 candlelight memorial service at the gazebo at the Chester A. Reese Veterans Memorial Park on Church Street to remember and honor those who died during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Hundreds of people from Malverne and surrounding communities attended the vigil, lit candles, sang and placed flowers on the village’s Sept. 11 memorial stone.
