Oyster Bay residents came out to celebrate the anniversary of the country’s independence on July 4, parading through the hamlet’s streets. Organized by the Oyster Bay Fire Company Number 1, the event featured veterans groups, marching bands, elected officials, and even a visit from the Bull Moose himself, Theodore Roosevelt.
