A free soundtrack to summer continues at Eisenhower Park, where the Noontime Concert Series brings live music to Field 1 every Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. The upcoming schedule features everything from timeless standards to dance-floor favorites, giving visitors a chance to enjoy lunch outdoors while listening to local performers. All concerts are weather permitting. Here are three shows coming to the mobile stage.

1. Johnny Avino brings timeless classics

Wednesday, Aug. 5

Fans of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett can spend the afternoon with Johnny Avino, a professional singer known for his polished renditions of the Great American Songbook.

Avino has become a familiar presence in the New York entertainment and dining scenes, performing at restaurants, country clubs and community venues, often accompanied by his trio.

At Eisenhower Park, audiences can expect an easygoing program filled with romance, nostalgia and songs made famous by some of the 20th century’s most celebrated vocalists.

2. Sound Chaser keeps the crowd dancing

Wednesday, Aug. 19

Sound Chaser brings a wide-ranging playlist and high-energy stage presence to Eisenhower Park.

Based in nearby Williston Park, the award-winning party and wedding band performs music spanning the 1940s through today, allowing its shows to appeal to listeners across generations.

Its repertoire includes pop, rock, Motown, disco and other danceable favorites, along with familiar songs that invite audiences to sing along.

The group’s afternoon set should offer plenty of opportunities for dancing, clapping and enjoying recognizable hits.

3. Bob Damato celebrates music and memories

Wednesday, Sept. 2

Bob Damato, known onstage as Bobby D, will bring his show, Music, Love, and Memories, to Eisenhower Park in early September. The Floral Park crooner performs favorites from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, including songs associated with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin and Tom Jones. Damato regularly appears at Italian feasts, village festivals, restaurants and other community events across Long Island.
