Stranded yacht in Oyster Bay rescued

A 50-foot yacht that was stranded between the Oyster Bay Harbor and the Long Island Sound was rescued on Saturday night, according to the Nassau County Police Department

The police department's Marine Bureau responded with the assistance of the town's Bay Constable Marine Bureau to bring the yacht to the Oyster Bay Marina, according to police.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, and no injuries were reported.
