The Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts held its second annual gala fundraiser on Sept. 13.
The black-tie evening was a fundraiser for the Guild for the Arts, which sponsors many different cultural events in the village. In addition to honoring former mayor Eugene Murray and current mayor Francis X. Murray for their support of the arts in Rockville Centre, the evening included performances from resident opera singer Jennifer Matthews, Broadway performer and resident Molly Bier, the Leggz Ltd. Dance Company dancers and Guild President Wayne Lipton.
The money raised goes toward funding many cultural and artistic events in the village, including the South Shore Symphony.
