Solo Circus
It’s time for some circus fun when the National Circus Project visits Long Island Children’s Museum with “Solo Circus.” Get up an up-close introduction to see how circus folk do what they do. The National Circus Project’s talented performers will introduce visitors to the art of balancing, juggling, clowning, plate spinning, and much more.

Cross Island: Cello and Reed
Enjoy a summer concert surrounded by the beauty of Old Westbury Gardens this weekend. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and listen to artist-in-residence cellist Suzanne Mueller and friends perform works on the patio by the West Porch Beech Tree. For this concert, she is joined by clarinetist Joseph Rutkowsk, Jr. in a program that includes a new duo piece by composer Roger Blanc, a new cello solo by Douglas Da Silva, and fresh classical, jazz, and fiddling tunes.
