Mostly Cloudy Cops: Two officers and motorist injured from crash in Rockville Centre

A motorist and two Nassau County police officers are in the hospital following a collision in Rockville Centre on Friday night.
Nassau County Police said the officers were responding to assist a driver whose car was disabled along Peninsula Avenue, south of Eagle Avenue, around 9:30 p.m.
Police had blocked traffic in the right lane with their emergency lights activated when a 47-year-old woman driving a 2021 Nissan Sentra rear-ended the police vehicle.
According to police, the two officers and the driver sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
