Curran honors Mercy Hospital nurses

In recognition of National Nurses Week, Assemblyman Brian Curran, left, presented a legislative proclamation to Mercy Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer Ron Steimel, and Chief Nursing Officer Renee Mauriello. The presentation ceremony on May 11 noted that Mercy recently was designated a Pathway To Excellence hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the only hospital in the region and one of only two in New York state to be so honored.
