Rockville Centre village officials announced upcoming construction activity and a temporary road closure tied to local infrastructure improvement projects.
Construction in Parking Field No. 19, located next to the mattress store, is scheduled to begin this week. The project will include electrical infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving reliability and service in the area. Officials said residents and nearby businesses may experience temporary disruptions during the work.
In addition, Front Street between Clinton Avenue and North Village Avenue will be closed for paving operations beginning Wednesday at midnight and continuing through the morning hours. No vehicular access will be permitted within the work zone during that time, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Village officials thanked residents and businesses for their cooperation and patience as the infrastructure improvements move forward.
