Arrests

A resident of Garfield Place, East Rockaway was arrested on Jan. 18 and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after an investigation by police of Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Tremont Road, Lindenhurst was arrested on Jan. 20 and charged with disorderly conduct after an investigation by police in the vicinity of 49 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre.

Larceny

A resident of Lindbergh Avenue, Oceanside reported on Jan. 15 that someone stole a 2007 Boulder Giant SE bicycle, valued at $1,000, from the vicinity of the Long Island Railroad, at N. Park Avenue and Front Street, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Lynbrook reported on Jan. 17 that someone stole her GPS device and flashlight from her 2003 Nissan while it was parked in the vicinity of 265 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Sycamore Street, West Hempstead reported on Jan. 18 that someone stole his Samsung, valued at $150, from a taxi while in the vicinity of Front Street, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Lakeview Avenue, Malverne reported on Jan. 18 that someone stole his iPad, valued at $600, from his unlocked 2011 Hyundai while parked in Municipal Parking Field 4, Rockville Centre.

Unusual Incident

A resident of Canterbury Road, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 17 that someone committed a larceny at a Freeport business and provided his name and address to store personnel when stopped by employees.

A resident of Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 18 that someone made an unauthorized purchase of $49.18 against her Visa debit card at CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of E. Fulton Street, Long Beach reported on Jan. 19 that someone used Empire Health plan benefits in her name without authorization and received medical services at 2 Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Graffiti

A resident of Arden Court, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 20 that someone damaged a fence panel with graffiti.

Police identified graffiti on Jan. 20 that had been placed on the front door of the water department and a street sign in the vicinity of Seaman Avenue and Knollwood Road, Rockville Centre.

Criminal Mischief

A resident of Morris Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 20 that someone damaged the rear windshield wiper on her 2009 Land Rover while it was parked at the residence.

The manager of Element Massage, located at 316A Sunrise Highway, reported on Jan. 20 that someone damaged the rear window of the business valued at $900.

Property Damage

The superintendent of 195 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 14 that an exterior lamp was damaged.
