Rockville Centre host discusses LI’s future on Business Report

The latest episode of the Long Island Business Report, taped at Molloy College and headed by Rockville Centre resident Jim Paymar, aired Feb. 6 and featured an interview with John Cameron and David Calone.

Cameron, a resident of Rockville Centre and chairman of the Long Island Regional Planning Council, and Calone, the Chair of the Suffolk County Planning Commission, discussed with Paymar regional planning and the challenges of preserving Long Island’s attributes while envisioning a plan for the future.

According to a press release from WLIW21, the New York public television station running the weekly half-hour program, the show will have reruns air on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 10 at 9:30 a.m.

The program examines the economic and business trends that affect Long Island residents. Paymar, an Emmy-winning journalist, will interview business leaders and industry experts. A former correspondent at CNBC and Business Week, Paymar is also the president of Paymar Communications, a media training, presentation training and consulting firm based in Rockville Centre.
