A Rockville Centre was arrested in connection with a series of incidents across Nassau County earlier this week, according to Nassau County police officials.

Brian Quinn, 50, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon following an investigation into multiple alleged crimes.

Detectives said Quinn is accused of stealing a 2011 BMW from A Plus Auto Technician in Baldwin on April 19 after taking the vehicle for a test drive and failing to return it. He is also charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a Chase Bank branch in Oceanside on April 20, where police said he demanded money from a teller who refused.

Two days later, Quinn allegedly carried out a robbery at a Flagstar Bank in Massapequa, where he passed a note demanding cash. The teller complied out of fear, and the suspect fled, police said.

Quinn was arrested without incident and charged with robbery, attempted robbery and grand larceny. He was arraigned on Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Quinn was previously arrested in 2021 in connection with a separate series of robberies and theft-related incidents across Nassau County.

In that case, police said he was linked to multiple incidents over a short period, including alleged robberies at Chase Bank branches in Oceanside and Baldwin, as well as several vehicle and property thefts, including stolen cars in Rockville Centre and Roosevelt and merchandise stolen from a gas station in Oceanside.
