Passover/Easter Recess. Schools reopen on April 7.

Board of Education Public Work Session. April 8 at 8:30 p.m. in the Administration building.

Preliminary Budget Hearing. April 20 at 8:30 p.m. in South Side High School Room 112.

Save the date

On April 10 at 7 p.m., the RVC Education Foundation will hold its annual black tie optional dinner dance at the Hempstead Country Club. The gala is the primary fundraiser for the organization that supports enrichment programs throughout the district’s schools.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating Broadway.” The Hon. Frank Yannelli, Karen Faust Baer and Gene Kaplan are the honorees. Visit www.rvcedfoundation.org for more information about the gala and the foundation’s projects.

Coming soon to South Side Middle School, the beloved Broadway musical “Annie” on April 16 and 17.

And one week later, on April 21, 22, 23 and 24, “Carousel” will play at South Side High School.
