Chilly weather and festive fall decorations set the scene for a day of family fun at Jennie E. Hewitt Elementary School, where the school community gathered for the Hewitt Fair.
Held on Oct. 17, the fair brought families together for an afternoon of activities, entertainment and seasonal festivities at the school. The event offered something for visitors of all ages, with games, music and opportunities to enjoy the autumn weather.
Activities included raffle baskets, a DJ, games, a bake sale and an outdoor grill. Children also had the opportunity to visit a petting zoo, get their faces painted and take fall-themed photos. The fair also featured an SEP sensory table, providing an additional activity for attendees.
The event was supported by local businesses and sponsors, including Emilie Shapiro Jewelry, Kinfolk Corner Market, Jeannine’s, The Caffe on Park, Nikk Ness Design Studio, Creative Concierge NY, Elle Ashlei, Dee’s Nursery & Florist, Touched by A Rose, McDonald Landscape, Polka Dot Pound Cake, Sportset Kids, the Marc Sacco Allstate Agency and Move Better.
The Hewitt Fair provided an opportunity for students, families and community members to come together for an afternoon of seasonal entertainment and school community spirit.
