Despite nearly six inches of snow blanketing the area, the Rockville Centre Recreation Center successfully hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa.
The Dec. 14 event, which drew packed crowds at each of its three seating times, provided a festive and magical experience for both children and adults, continuing as planned despite the winter weather.
Each of the three seating times was filled to capacity. Families enjoyed a delicious breakfast served by Santa’s elves while the venue was transformed into a winter wonderland. Children had the opportunity to chat with Santa Claus, take photos, and meet other beloved holiday characters such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman.
In addition to the festive breakfast, attendees took part in the heartwarming community activity of building "Cupid’s Community Friendship Chain," promoting unity and friendship during the holiday season. As a special memento, each child received a keepsake to remember the day.
