South Side High School celebrated its Homecoming on Oct. 25 with a parade through the streets of Rockville Centre before the Cyclones went on to win a resounding 38-0 victory over Great Neck North.
The theme of this year’s Homecoming was “Theme parks.” Each class made floats dedicated to popular attractions, like Hershey Park, the Epcot Center and Disney World.
Though seating at the field was limited due to the ongoing construction at the high school, many people still came out to cheer on the team.
This year’s homecoming was also the first to be played on South Side’s new field, which was only completed a few weeks ago.
