St. Agnes Cathedral School held its annual Open House last Sunday, during which prospective students and their families toured the building and learned about its offerings.
The event followed Mass in the cathedral and refreshments at the St. Agnes Parish Center. Student tour guides volunteered to take visitors around the school.
Stops included the library, where librarian Fran Barricelli told about the more than 10,000 books, 30 iPads, e-books and SMART board available to children; the art room, where teacher Sandra Collins showed off student projects; a science classroom, where enlarged replicas of different viruses sat on display; as well as the computer lab, lunch room and auditorium.
The Rev. William Koenig, rector of St. Agnes Cathedral and Principal Cecilia St. John were among those who welcomed guests interested in sending their children to the school.
