Teenagers robbed at gunpoint in Lakeview

Two male teenagers were reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a group of men as they were walking to a bus stop in Lakeview on May 3.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 10:00 p.m., near Tanglewood Road. The two victims, ages 14 and 17, reportedly had their jewelry, sneakers and cell phones taken by a group of four or five unknown male subjects.

Police said the two youths were visiting a friend’s residence in the area. No injuries were reported, police said.

The subjects had bandanas covering their faces and fled north on Tanglewood Road, police said. No additional description of the subjects is available at this time.
