Temple B’nai Sholom and Central Synagogue will present Marion Blumenthal Lazan on April 11 at 6:45 p.m. to discuss her Holocaust story — a message of perseverance, determination, faith and hope. The community is invited to this free Holocaust Remembrance Night event at Temple B’nai Sholom, 100 Hempstead Ave., to hear Lazan, co-author of the award-winning memoir, “Four Perfect Pebbles,” speak about her 6 1/2 years in Nazi concentration camps, her liberation and the start of life anew in America. Upwards of a million students and adults have heard Lazan’s compelling story, her message of love, respect and tolerance, and the ability to overcome adversity. Personally inscribed copies of Lazan’s memoir will be available before and after the presentation.
