Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks, who represents Uniondale, joined the Minority Millennials at Nassau Community College on April 24, where she served as keynote speaker during the organization’s fourth annual “We Are The Future” summit.
“We Are The Future” is an annual summit hosted by Minority Millennials that focuses on leadership, career development, civic engagement and networking opportunities for young people of color on Long Island.
“Minority Millennials is shaping our region’s future by helping young people of color build careers, generate generational wealth, and become our next generation of civic leaders and public servants,” Nicks said. “I am proud to stand with them in their mission, and I thank Dan Lloyd for inviting me to be a part of such an enlightening and inspiring summit.”
