Hundreds of children and their families gathered at Kennedy Park on Dec. 17 for the first-ever Hemp-Dale Christmas Pajama Party — a festive event uniting the Uniondale and Hempstead communities for the holidays.

Children arrived in pajamas, met Santa Claus and received personalized gifts, many chosen from wish lists submitted in advance. Holiday music filled the air as families enjoyed dinner, sweet treats and a joyful night of celebration.

The event was organized by Nassau County Legislator Scott Davis and Assemblyman Noah Burroughs, with support from sponsors including Wild Fork and Town Elite. Organizers said they hope to make it an annual tradition.
