Uniondale couple, Ralph and Jacqueline Hanna renewed their vows after 19-years of marriage on Feb 12.
Hempstead Town Supervisor John Ferreti and Town Clerk Kate Murray celebrated the Uniondale couple along with 100 others that day. They hosted a marathon vow renewal ceremony at the Coral House in Baldwin.
Couples ranged from newlyweds to those married for a few decades as they reaffirmed their commitment in heartfelt ceremonies officiated by Murray.
The event was sponsored by the Town of Hempstead and was offered free of charge. The day highlighted the season of love and the importance of community across Hempstead.
