For the second consecutive year, the College Board announced that Sacred Heart Academy earned Platinum distinction on the 2025 Advanced Placement School Honor Roll.
This honor is the highest level of recognition awarded. Fewer than eight percent of schools nationwide receive this distinction, placing the all-girls Catholic school in a select group for AP programming.
The high school said the distinction reflects its college-going culture, where seniors complete at least one AP course. Another measure is college credit, in which students earn AP scores of three or higher. The third is college optimization, where students complete five or more AP courses during high school, with at least one taken in ninth or tenth grade.
“Our young women at SHA do very well with our many AP classes and appreciate the added preparation for college,” said SHA President Kim Johnson in a statement on Feb. 6. “We are very proud to share that for the second consecutive year SHAhas received the highest distinction Platinum AP School Honor Award, recognizing the superior college culture and AP success at Sacred Heart Academy!”
