Sacred Heart Academy welcomed 370 members of its community for the school’s 2026 Leadership Dinner Dance, an annual gathering of parents, alumnae, faculty, and friends.
The March 20 event at the Garden City Hotel raised $555,000 to support school programs and campus initiatives.
“This is truly wonderful to gather with so many members of this extraordinary community who share a deep belief in the power of Catholic education and in the promise of young women,” said Sacred Heart Academy President Kim Johnson.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of a major gift from Theresa and Artie Minson. Their donation, which will fund the Minson Family Student Center, is set to open next fall and will provide spaces for guidance and college counseling, student collaboration, leadership development, and other aspects of campus life.
The dinner also recognized alumnae for their professional achievements and community contributions. This year’s honorees were Rosanne Breen, P ’11, Rachel Cashwell, and Theresa Minson. St. Agnes Cathedral School graduate Christine Goodwin received special recognition for her work supporting the academy and Catholic education.
The event underscored Sacred Heart Academy’s focus on preparing students for leadership and service while maintaining a strong academic and spiritual foundation. It also highlighted the school’s five-year strategic plan, “The Mission Forward,” which prioritizes investments in academics, wellness, leadership, and campus facilities.
