Levittown Public Schools has opened registration for its Universal Prekindergarten program for the 2027-2028 school year on Oct. 19, 2026.
Children who reside within the district and will be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2027, are eligible to apply. Registration will remain open through Nov. 25, 2026.
Provided to families free of charge, Levittown's UPK program offers young learners a strong foundation for future academic success through play-based learning, early literacy experiences, social-emotional development and hands-on exploration.
The program is offered exclusively through the district's community partner, Tender Garden, with all 2027-2028 classes held at St. Bernard's, located at 3100 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. Every classroom is staffed by licensed teachers dedicated to creating engaging, nurturing learning environments where children can build confidence, independence and readiness for kindergarten.
Families are encouraged to complete the registration process and submit all required documentation during the registration window. Children with completed registrations submitted by the deadline will be eligible for the UPK lottery process. Completion of registration does not guarantee placement.
Registration information, required forms and instructions will be available on the district website beginning Oct. 19. Families should be prepared to provide proof of residency, proof of age and required medical and immunization documentation.
