A Wantagh man was arrested Wednesday morning after police say they discovered multiple illegal substances in his home in the Forest Lake section of Wantagh.
According to detectives, the Nassau County Probation Department and Nassau County Police Department arrived at 53-year-old Daniel Posner’s house on Darby Road on Jan. 7., and inside the home, officials found roughly 85 grams of what they believed to be crystal methamphetamine, 15 grams of a substance believed to be ketamine, and various quantities of methylenedioxymethamphetamine, gamma-hydroxybutyrate, alprazolam and methamphetamine paraphernalia.
Posner was arrested at the scene without incident. The Town of Hempstead Buildings Department later secured the residence and property. He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in multiple degree and eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree
He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Jan. 8.
