Little ghosts, goblins, witches and superheroes were invited to show off their Halloween spirit during the Malverne Youth Board’s annual Ragamuffin Costume Parade on Oct. 31.
The celebration was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Gazebo Park on Church Street, bringing families and children of all ages together for a morning of costumes, crafts and seasonal entertainment.
The annual tradition featured a variety of Halloween-themed activities, including games, music and treats. Children were encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes, from spooky characters to superheroes, adding plenty of color and creativity to the festivities.
The Halloween fun was set to continue at 11 a.m. with the Malverne Chamber of Commerce’s Candy Crawl, giving families another opportunity to enjoy the holiday throughout the village.
The two events offered residents a chance to celebrate Halloween, spend time with neighbors and enjoy family-friendly activities in the heart of Malverne.
