Tranquility Spa & Salt Cave had a celebration for its tenth anniversary on June 16. Refreshments were provided to guests, as well as special deals for spa treatments. The Franklin Square spa commemorated its customers in the community.
West Hempstead author and Long Island Breakfast Club host Valentina Janek assisted Tranquility owners Ed Hardt and Angela Cui with organizing and promoting the event.
Janek expressed her support for Hardt and Cui’s business and appreciation for their decade-long relationship. “I have been with them here for ten years,” she said. “They treat their clients like family.”
Tranquility Spa was established in 2016 and expanded its space with a salt cave in 2019. “The salt cave promotes health and wellness,” Cui said. “Inhaling salt air may help you breathe easier.”
The spa has had a strong foothold in the community since 2020. Cui and Hardt’s business helped essential workers at Northwell Health Valley Stream by providing them salt cave treatment. They provided treatment to 200 staffers.
According to its website, the spa hosts over 2000 email clients on a constant contact web-based program regularly.
Co-owner Ed Hardt expressed his gratitude for the support of the community. “Ten years of success takes a lot of hard work,” he said. “Angela and I have been extra motivated, her effort being recognized is extraordinary, she has become well known for her passion.”
