Kennedy Sports Boosters was reinvented this past school year. A small group of interested parents, led by Bob Pizzimenti, began meeting and discussing how to best serve the school’s student athletes in a supportive role. Over the past year Kennedy Sports Boosters grew from eight to 130 members.

The parents of a girl who is now in high school, and who never attended the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District, are suing the district after a handful of Merrick Avenue Middle School students allegedly circulated a “lewd” video defaming the girl during the 2012-13 school year.
