A sunny day greeted the hundreds of runners and walkers for the annual Building Homes for Heroes 5K Run/Walk held at Hewlett Point Beach Park last Sunday. The overall winner in the men’s division was Dan McGrath, of Lynbrook, with a time of 15:36. The overall women’s winner was Jayne Paskoff, of Lynbrook, with a time of 21:07. more

East Rockaway and Lynbrook thespians took part in a recent production of "On Broadway -- A Musical Revue" in Island Park recently. The cast of 70 plus included many local actors, including community theater veterans as well as first-timers. Tickets sales broke records for ITPG, according to Director Renee Socci. more

A cast of 70 locals actors, dancers and singers entertained the audience at the Lincoln Orens Middle School in Island Park - and the IPTG broke records with its ticket sales. more
