Arrests
At 10:55 p.m. on Sept. 5,a 27-year old man of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
A 23-year-old of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with possession of burglar’s tools, unlicensed operation and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Sept. 6 at 5:30 a.m.
On Sept. 6 at 5:30 a.m., a 28-year-old man of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with possession of burglar’s tools, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, passed red traffic signal light and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
A 26-year old woman of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and failure to yield right of way on Merrick Road in Lynbrook on Sept. 8 at 11:50 p.m.
Found property
At 1 p.m. on Sept. 4, a complainant reported finding a ten-speed bicycle on Sherman Street in Lynbrook. The bicycle was taken to Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters.
Identity theft
On Sept. 4 at 6:40 p.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) made eight charges on their Visa credit card. The total amount of the charges is $191.97.
