Daniel T. Dwyer, 57, of East Rockaway

Daniel T. Dwyer, 57, of East Rockaway and formerly of Uniondale, died on July, 3. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy.

Dwyer was the loving son of Jeanette and the late Thomas Dwyer; loving Brother of Kathleen Dwyer-Blair and her husband Michael; father of Heather, Daniel and Jenna. He is also survived by his loving dog, Bubba. Dwyer’s funeral was private.

Daniel loved living in East Rockaway so much so, that when he was given the opportunity to relocate after his home was destroyed during Sandy, he chose to rebuild. Daniel’s family is grateful for the love, support and compassion given to them during this painful time.
