The Franklin Early Childhood Center students in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade experienced “world travel” at the Hewlett school’s One World Celebration on March 2.
Given a “passport” the children visited Israel, Brazil, Costa Rica, France, Russia, Georgia, Trinidad, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Nepal, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, Turkey, the Ukraine, Puerto Rico, Pakistan and the U.S. School families represented all the countries, and the students learned the cultures of these nations through music, dance and culinary treats.
