Former stars and present players were spotlighted as Lawrence Woodmere Academy held its alumni basketball game at the school’s gymnasium on Nov. 23.
Approximately 200 attended the event that included a slam dunk contest won by RJ Rutledge, class of 2006 and a half-court shot competition won by Tristan Braverman, class of 2013, who received a hot air balloon ride as the prize.
The a cappela trio Harmony comprised of LWA seniors Ezioma Asonye, La’ker KwaMogi and Melody Pierre-Giles sang the National Anthem, the school’s dance club performed and there was a post-game pizza party in the cafeteria.
