A plan to demolish the UA Lynbrook 6 movie theater on Merrick Road and build a much larger theater complex in its place was presented to the public at a village board meeting on Aug. 12. The proposed multiplex, which would have 15 screens and 3,161 seats, would be built where the current theater stands, expanding into the Regal Entertainment Group-owned parking lot just west of the existing structure.
