Conoco gas station robbed at gunpoint in Uniondale

An unspecified amount of money was stolen from the Conoco gas station on Front Street in Uniondale at 7:45 p.m. on May 23, Nassau police said.

A man allegedly entered the station’s store and showed a handgun to the lone employee working and demanded money, a man, who then complied, police said and the alleged thief left on foot.

No customers were present at the time of the incident.

The man is described as black, 5-6 to 5-9 tall, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue vest and a mask.
