Mount Sinai South Nassau delivers first baby of 2020


At 12:03 a.m. on Jan. 1, Bernard Casey Hall Nichols, of Valley Stream, was born at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside. He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

He and his parents, Bernard Nichols and Tami Hall, center, received a gift basket from the nursing staff, including Assistant Nurse Manager Cecelia Carey, Paula Larocchia, a lactation consultant Attending Neonatologist Dr. Paul Jean-Charles, OB-GYN resident physicians and the rest of the team.
