When Kathleen Rice is sworn in, as the new Representative for the 4th Congressional District, an Oceanside native will be working with her. Oceanside high school class of 2009 graduate, Max Kramer, will be the Senior Community Representative in the district.

Kramer went to the University of Delaware and majored in Political Science and Economics.

He worked on Rice’s 2010 district attorney race, the 2012 congressional race of John Carney, then as a political aide for Rice’s 2013 re-election campaign. When Rice decided to run for Congress, Kramer helped get that campaign off the ground working as Deputy Director for Finance and Political Affairs, Community Outreach and Labor Relations.

In his new position it will be Kramer’s job to be in touch with community, and help the Congresswomen get action by federal agencies, like FEMA. He will also be in contact with others in political office to make sure they are all communicating to help people in the district.
