Playing for the first time in more than two weeks and only for the fifth time this season, Clarke brought plenty of intensity and showed little signs of rust in beating neighboring rival East Meadow, 8-7, on Diana Schmitt’s goal with 5:16 remaining in a Nassau Conference III girls’ lacrosse game on April 24. more
Clarke has its ace in the circle, sophomore pitcher Sarah Cornell, and there’s always a good chance the Lady Rams’ opponents are going to come up empty at the plate. Cornell has three career no-hitters under her belt, including a 2-0 victory over South Side on April 12 that included 15 strikeouts. more
