Uniondale high's Rhythm of the Knight stuns community with dazzling holiday spectacle

In a dazzling display of talent and festive spirit, the Uniondale high school show choir, Rhythm of the Knight, treated the community to a spectacular Holiday Show at the school auditorium and brought the town together for a night filled with joy, fun, and a strong sense of community.

Transforming the auditorium into a winter wonderland filled with holiday decorations and holiday spirit, the show featured the show choir’s students adorned in cheerful outfits with festive backdrops. Adding to the magic were performances by other student artists and dancers who complemented the choir's enchanting vocals, creating a mesmerizing spectacle for all in attendance.

"The Holiday Spectacular Show was such an incredible two nights full of excitement and entertainment,” said district Superintendent Monique Darrisaw-Akil, who expressed her admiration for the students' dedication to this show while juggling their busy schedules during this hectic time of year.

“Our scholars, in between their studies and various activities, rehearsed and put on an amazing performance. I, along with the District administration, am very proud of them for bringing the community together to spread holiday cheer,” she said.

The Show Choir, renowned for its talent and discipline, delivered all of the classic holiday hits and were followed by performances that kept the audience engaged and involved in every act, injecting a dynamic energy into the show. The scholars' harmonious singing and expertly choreographed dances captivated the audience and showcased Uniondale’s students remarkable talent and dedication to the arts.

"These students are the epitome of what makes the Uniondale School District so special,” said Uniondale High School Principal Mark McCaw, “The Holiday Spectacular was an amazing show, led by a talented group of students, and I am very proud of our students’ talent and technique — which were displayed throughout the night, and I commend them for their commitment to the arts, their community, and the District."
