A tasty time at Carbonaro

Posted

Kindergartners at the Robert W. Carbonaro School celebrated the holidays last Friday afternoon by making gingerbread houses. Many of the children were joined by their parents and siblings.

Students in all three classes started out with a small milk carton, then covered it in graham crackers to make the walls. They had plenty of candy — which every child and even some of parents sampled — to choose from to decorate their houses, adding doors, windows, chimneys and all sorts of tasty creations. There was plenty of icing to hold everything together. The children then got to take home their finished product.
