Feb. 13 marked the 100th day of school in Valley Stream in the 2011-12 school year. At the Robert W. Carbonaro School in District 24, children marched in a 100 Day parade wearing "100" glasses and hats, and necklaces with 100 fruit loops.
At the Willow Road School in District 13, children in kindergarten classes made posters with 100 objects. First-graders dressed up how they expect to look when they are 100 years old.
