West Hempstead High School senior Theodore Kim was recently recognized as a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Kim is one of about 34,000 students throughout the nation that are being honored for exceptional academic promise. Being honored as a Commended Student demonstrates Kim was among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2019 competition. Students entered the competition by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
